Clear expectations for families

LearnVerity family service terms

These terms apply to personal and family use of the LearnVerity parent dashboard and student app. Effective August 23, 2026.

Parent authority and student notice

The family account owner must be at least 18, be the student's parent or legal guardian, have authority to enroll the device, and review LearnVerity's monitoring disclosure with the student. LearnVerity may not be installed secretly, used to monitor another adult, or used outside a lawful parent-child relationship.

What the service does—and does not prove

LearnVerity reports limited supported-app opening events and device-coverage status. It does not read AI conversations and cannot determine a student's intent, prove cheating, confirm who changed a device setting, or replace a parent's judgment. Parents agree to treat alerts as conversation context, not automatic proof of wrongdoing.

Trial and family plans

Each newly enrolled family student may receive one 30-day free period. Reinstalling the app or changing plans does not create another trial for the same enrolled student device. Any paid offer will show its price, billing frequency, renewal date, cancellation method, and material terms before the parent authorizes payment. District and school agreements use separate enterprise terms and do not include the family trial.

Acceptable use and account security

Do not bypass security, interfere with the service, submit unlawful content, impersonate another person, or use LearnVerity for covert surveillance. Parents are responsible for protecting their email account and sign-in session, keeping device information accurate, and promptly reporting unauthorized access.

Availability and responsibility

Mobile operating systems and supported AI apps can change without notice, so LearnVerity cannot guarantee that every event is observed or that coverage is uninterrupted. The service is provided for family guidance and is not legal advice, school disciplinary evidence, an emergency service, or a substitute for school policy. LearnVerity may suspend access needed to protect users, comply with law, or address misuse.

Questions and changes

LearnVerity may update these terms as the service changes. Material updates will be dated and communicated when appropriate. Email support@learnverity.com for service questions, billing@learnverity.com for plan questions, or privacy@learnverity.com for privacy requests.
